In the rich tourist offer of Lake Garda, a very important role is played by the numerous thermal and water parks in the area. These top-level facilities are a valid alternative to the beaches on the lake and are also much appreciated by families with children. Below is a list of the most important ones, their main features and where they are located.
Located in the municipality of Lazise in the province of Verona, Caneva Aquapark is one of the largest and certainly one of the best-loved water parks on Lake Garda. This facility is suitable for a large flow of people, thanks to its large open-air spaces where it is possible to relax and sunbathe in absolute relaxation.
Those who know and habitually visit the park love its many spectacular water slides. Some are suitable for children and those seeking less extreme thrills, such as the Typhoon, the Trisplash or the Mini Black to name a few. Others are much more adrenalin-pumping, such as the legendary Stukas Boom, the ideal slide for testing your courage.

Parco Acquatico Riovalli
Located in the municipality of Cavaion Veronese in the province of Verona, the Riovalli Water Park occupies an area of about 7,000 m2 set in the green and peaceful hinterland of Lake Garda. The park can be reached in a few minutes by car from the nearby town of Bardolino, or via the fast road SR450 Affi - Peschiera del Garda.
Inside the park there are swimming pools and water slides suitable for all ages, a pizzeria, a kiosk, but also facilities for sports enthusiasts such as beach volleyball or futsal.
Parco Acquatico Cavour
Located in the municipality of Valeggio sul Mincio in the province of Verona, the Cavour Water Park is without doubt one of the longest-established parks in the Lake Garda area. The long history of this place began in the 1970s and since then it has been able to constantly update and expand over time, always introducing new and popular attractions.
These include some very special pools such as the Palm beach, characterised by the presence of fine white sand, or the splendid water slides such as the Kamikaze, the Iceberg or the Water Lagoon to name only a few. There are also some refreshment areas and the possibility of playing futsal or beach volleyball. Fun and relaxation for the whole family then, in a beautiful natural setting just a few minutes' drive from Lake Garda.
Parco Acquatico Picoverde
Located in the municipality of Custoza in the province of Verona, the Picoverde Water Park is the ideal place to spend a relaxing summer day. Perfectly equipped to accommodate groups of friends or families with children, it extends over a grassy area of 64,000 m2.
It features water slides suitable for both adults and children, a large swimming pool, a playground and a refreshment area. The park is a fun alternative to the more crowded Garda beaches and can be easily reached from the nearby town of Peschiera del Garda.
Parco La Quiete
Located in the municipality of Lonato del Garda in the province of Brescia, Parco La Quiete is another important water park in the southern area of Lake Garda. Inside there are several large swimming pools where you can swim and cool off during hot summer days, or sunbathe on the comfortable sunbeds of the solarium.
At the Laguna Pool it is possible to use specific wellness equipment, with a large whirlpool area designed precisely for physical and mental relaxation. There is also a splendid refreshment area with a pizzeria overlooking the park's inner lake.

Located in the municipality of Garda in the province of Verona, Gardacqua is a modern aquatic centre with splendid indoor and outdoor pools, where you can swim in absolute relaxation even during the winter period.
The dome-shaped structure houses a sports pool, a large 25-metre-long pool with 4 lanes, a water circuit with continuous current flow, a children's area with mini pools and water games, and a scenic elevated whirlpool area.
Outside, there is a swimming pool with heated water and a large pool equipped with a slide, hydromassage jets and cervical showers. Special attention is also paid to lovers of wellness and fitness, thanks to the presence of a perfectly equipped SPA area and a Beauty area with qualified staff.
Legoland Water Park Gardaland
Located in the municipality of Castelnuovo del Garda in the province of Verona, Legoland Water Park is the LEGO-themed water park inside the famous Gardaland amusement park.
This area has everything necessary to comfortably accommodate families with children. There are numerous water slides and water courses such as the Beach Party, the Jungle Adventures or the LEGO River Adventure to name just a few. In the best Gardaland tradition there is certainly no lack of refreshment areas, in this case perfectly in style with the famous LEGO bricks.
Villa dei Cedri SPA
Located in the hamlet of Colà di Lazise in the province of Verona, Villa dei Cedri SPA is a reference point for wellness lovers on Lake Garda.
The structure of the park is very large and inside it you will find rare plants, century-old trees, swimming pools with whirlpools, fountains and waterfalls, all equipped with hot thermal water. The latter is oligomineral and flows from the spring at around 42°/37°C. Thanks to this precious natural feature, services dedicated to thermal treatments and motor rehabilitation are available.

Located in Pescantina in the province of Verona, Aquardens Terme is a modern thermal centre that can be easily reached in a few minutes by car from Lake Garda.
A fundamental characteristic of this thermal centre is the presence of a hot thermal water source. This is of the salso-bromo-iodine type, which flows out at a temperature of 47°C and is then cooled to about 35°/36°C to allow bathing.
A wide range of services dedicated to wellness is available, with a large thermal area divided into various zones. These include the Salina pool, the Caracalla pool, the Grotta dell'armonia, the Grotta della Fonte and the Kneipp path to name just a few. Located in the municipality of Sirmione in the province of Brescia, Aquaria Thermal SPA is a splendid structure that enjoys an enviable position, directly overlooking the waters of Lake Garda.
A 15,000 m2 wellness centre, equipped with all types of pools, saunas, whirlpools, steam baths, beauty treatments, and much more.
The sulphurous salso-bromo-iodine thermal water of Sirmione is known and appreciated for its unique beneficial characteristics. It springs from the Fonte Boiola located under the bed of Lake Garda and flows out at a temperature of 69°C.
