During the winter period, Lake Garda hosts a number of traditional Christmas markets, which over the years have become one of the most eagerly awaited tourist attractions for adults and children alike.
Each market stall is a treasure to be discovered: local handicrafts, Christmas decorations and typical products that tell stories of ancient traditions. The air is pervaded by heady scents of spices and aromas, with the ever-present mulled wine warming hands and hearts. Christmas carols resound in the air, creating a magical atmosphere and giving to the small villages a special, almost fairytale-like charm.
