CATULLO CAVES
The archaeological Catullo "caves" complex occupies the Northern part of the peninsula, along the deep blue water of the low gardesan basin. All the region is integrated in a particularly fascinating landscape: specifically at sunset the game of lights and shadows and the bright colours combined with the ancient ruins, amongst the green of the olive trees and cypresses lines, make a picturesque and romantic picture. The Catullo caves are mentioned between the most wide and representative archaeological Northern Italian sites. Its "cave" denomination has truly a little to do with it. It is because the wide area is referred probably to a great residential roman complex of the empire age, that gather together also important ruins of a thermal building and of some shops that could have suggested the not proper denomination. next

Arena di Verona
Inizia il 79° Festival nel nome di Giuseppe Verdi. Quest'anno si apre il 29 giugno con "Messa da Requiem" ed il giorno seguente con il "Trovatore", nell'allestimento proposto da Franco Zeffirelli, si chiude il 2 settembre con "Aida". La stagione lirica in Arena è iniziata nel lontano agosto del 1913 proprio con Aida, ininterrottamente riproposta dal 1982.I prezzi previsti vanno da un minimo di 39.000 ad un massimo di 305.000
Il lago di Garda occupa un posto di primo piano per quanto riguarda il turismo nel nord italia. Diviso fra tre regioni Veneto, Lombardia, e Trentino-Alto Adige è il maggiore dei laghi italiani. La sua altezza media è di 65 m s.m., la sua superficie è di 370 kmq, mentre la profondità massima raggiunge i 346 m. Il perimetro del lago è di 155 km, la sua larghezza varia tra i 3 ed i 17,5 km, mentre la sua lunghezza è pari a 51,6 km. La trasparenza delle acque cristalline permette una visibilità di circa 15 m. Il clima mite consente soggiorni piacevoli in ogni stagione e la crescita di specie arboree tipicamente mediterranee
